Back to the 5 day work week for most but labor day is only a few weeks away.

We had a good week. Our two grandchildren were here for most of it. Ken and Nadien from Saskatchewan we up for a visit as well as Regan and Shawna from Beaver County. I was also in a golf tournament on saturday. It was a case of moments of brilliance and also moments to contemplate selling my clubs and take up paint-by-number.

Anyways today I want to start with this.

They should put this up in parliament hill where ALL our current politicians have to walk by it everyday.

To me, the Canada I grew up in is not the same anymore.

Its almost now we need permission from our government to act on those freedoms,

The other day we were watching an interview with a lady called Lyric Gillett. She heads up an organization called Faces of Choice.org. This deals with the abortion issue and in this case abortion survivors. She states abortion has been called “The silent Holocaust”.

We often see to separate the humanity from the things that make us uneasy, but when a victim – a survivor – stares you in the eye and tells you their story a paradigm shift takes place that cannot be conveniently forgotten.

This may be a little deep but I recommend people checking our her website.

there is a author named Alyssa Rosenheck who was to do a book launch in a book store in Nashville. However the people that run the book store caved to external pressure and cancelled her launch because she was Jewish. Based on social media, there is an awful lot of hate towards Jewish people. To me, a lot of it uncalled for. There are a lot of famous people that have some ties to Jews. Are people going to start hating them. Steven Spielberg, Jerry Seinfeld, Harrison Ford, even Gal Gadot (wonder woman) was born in Israel.

Do we hate all Germans because of Hitler, or all Japanese because of Pearl Harbour or all Islams because of 9/11?

Anyways this is my rant for today.

I will close with this to hopefully put a smile on your face.
