This Week With Cousin Ron
“Wear a poppy”
good monday morning Oct 26
I have had my morning coffee so the shakes have subsided and I can now type.
Lets start today with Alberta schools, in particular high school.
I had the pleasure of talking with a couple grade 12 students last week. I keep hearing about over crowded classrooms but those claims are all from the unions so I wanted to hear it straight from a student. They both said that in their classes the average is 30 students and in some classes as high as 40. And with only 1 teacher. The stated that getting a one on one with the teacher is next to impossible. So my suggestion (obvious) was to hire more teachers and put in a couple more class rooms. They agreed but also stated that what the school board would do is just bring in more students. So problem not solved. Now is this a school board problem or an immigration problem or both?
Now that the referendum is over, I hope Albertans can get along and try to make Alberta a better province, a sovereign province where we have a say in the business pf Alberta. Not Ottawa.
I read that Audi car company s building a $4.2 billion facility in Macon Georgia. They will be making 200,000 vehicles a year. More jobs created in the states.
Speaking of more jobs created in the states, Bombardier ( a Canadian company) is going to spend $270 million US to expand or set up facilities in 4 different US states, Kansas, Indiana, Connecticut and Texas. Why not Canada? The work is in the US.
There is a 142% increase in the number of Canadians that are looking to move to the US. This is where the jobs are. No wonder carney wants to increase immigration.
I came across this the other day
” MANHOOD must be built. Growing older happens automatically. Becoming a man does not. Manhood is forged through responsibility, sacrifice, courage and obedience to God. Age produces years. Discipline produces a man.”
Words of Wisdom- Both faith and fear demand you believe in something you cannot see. YOU CHOOSE.
The poppy drive has started so if you can please wear a poppy to show support for our veterans who have served and are currently serving. This is not a high paying job so they are not doing it for the money and in some cases working conditions are brutal. Please show them our support.
Have a great week
God Bless
God keep our land glorious and free.
Ron.
