The last day of August, I dont want to shock you but tomorrow is September 1.

sounds like most of what is going on today is this so called “trade war” and Lake Ontario vs Lake America.

What I suggest is a swim off. Doug Ford stand on the Canadian side of Lake Ontario and swim across to the US side. Then Trump also stands on the American side of Lake America and swim accross to the Canadian side. Who ever does it in the fastest time gets to claim the “name” of the lake. And the winner gets a year supply of Kentucky bourbon or Canadian Club whiskey. Problem solved. Children act better than this.

Canada doesnt even trade amongst itself “province to province”. Carney promised free trade inside Canada by July 1/2025.

A report from the Cdn Press- back in 2025 ” If indeed the US follows through with permanent 25% tariffs on Canada, but over time we could potentually more than compensate”

The cost of these barriers is estimated to be as high as $161 billion annually/ Make this make sense. We are our own worst customer.

I would like to focus on a DVD we watched on the weekend.

It is called “He calls me Daughter”

It is about different young little girls who have for different reasons (divorce, abuse- sexual and mental ) their father is no longer part of the picture. And how as they grow into teenagers, how not having a father around has effected their lives. turning to drugs, alcohol. Now young adults they would also turn to other men (a lot of failed marriages) or not trust men period. Some even became suicidal.

They felt they had nowhere to go. But somehow, someone came into their life and shared love and compassion to these young women just by being a friend and having an ear to listen. Eventually introduce them to the love of God.. Of course they were all skeptical. Of course, God in the Lords prayer is referenced as “Our Father”. the last thing they want is another father.

This DVD shows what Gods love has done in their lives.

If, for some reason, your father is not longer part of your life, please watch this DVD.
