hope you had a good weekend even amongst the thunder and lightning on saturday night. quite the light show.
My sister and brother in law came up from Saskatchewan for the weekend. So good to visit with them. This is where and when we weren’t so far apart.
even sold one of my snoopy birdhouses at the garage sale. bonus
lets start today with the sikh gentleman going to the gym in Ontario and then asked to leave as he was wearing a kirpan. First, this is Canada. How many Canadians know what a kirpan is let alone that it is a religious symbol to the sikh? I think the employee was correct in asking him to leave for the sake of the other members. however, I heard she got let go. I hope not. She was only looking out for the other members. I wonder if he went in the gym with his knife just to see what kind of reaction he would get.
Remember back in Dodge City, and Wyatt Earp made you hand your guns in when you came to town and got them back when you left. why not politely hand your knife over to the employee while you do your work out and get it back when you are done?
Did you see the charity add looking for donations as they claim there are over 10000 veterans that are homeless in Canada. In the mean time, Canada just gave $125 million to Brazil. How many homes could have been built with this $125 million. Our federal liberals have got their priorities totally screwed up.
Sounds like God has a sweet tooth. apparently scientists found sugar in the Milky Way. I cant say they are right or wrong. I wonder if they were on a sugar high when they examined the Milky Way. The Milky Way is 26,700 light years away. Maybe they will find chocolate in the Orion Nebula. LOL
I like what comedian James Gregory said in one of his routines.
“common sense people know there is no life on other planets. If there was life on other planets, we would have sent them aid by now”.
