HOME!

“Jesus called him home”

Greetings everyone, we are having some really hot muggy weather here.

HOME!

There is no place like home, the phrase reflects a deep desire within us to have a place to rest, to be, and belong. A place to share with others! Jesus addressed this desire for belonging when he and His friends had their last supper together He spoke about His impending death and resurrection. He promised that although He would would go away, He would come back for them. And He would prepare an everlasting home, where they would always be with Him.

John 14:1-3 (Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God and also believe in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you so that you will be always be with me where I am.)

Last Sunday afternoon Jesus had the place ready for my nephew a Pastor going to share the word of God with young people in a Bible Camp and on the way Jesus called him home to be with Jesus forever. Are you ready to go home to be with Jesus forever? I hope and pray that you are! Praying that God will meet all our needs this week.

I am leading Bible Study and preaching this Sunday morning at Wayside Gospel Chapel. And on Monday I will be going to Saskatchewan for the funeral of my beloved nephew Pastor Marty.
