good holiday Monday morning
for some, don’t hurt your back shoveling snow, for those who are camping, hopefully your heater is working. Otherwise enjoy the time away from the salt mine.
lets start today with the 2026 census. I also did not want to fill mine out as I feel our liberal government has enough info on us but maybe the Chinese government doesn’t. (who knows ) Anyways there was couple questions that I had to look twice at, The first one was OK which was gender at birth – male or female. However the second one was something like what I identify as, man, women or other. I felt like filling in the ” other” I identify as a dragon – my friends call me “PUFF” Some of you will remember Puff.
The Free Alberta petition took a hit the other day. I don’t know what the judge was thinking. She may have to look up democracy in the dictionary. I am also upset with Athabascan first nation chief Allan Adam. As per his interview with CBC – he said this was a good day for Canadians and democracy. He also needs the same dictionary. David from Moose of the Loose came up with some info which I also dug up on the Gov. of Canada website for First Nations Financial Transparency Act. well- first it hasn’t been transparent for over 5 years. But I did find out that the population of this particular band is a grand total of 33 people. Our government of Canada signed a settlement agreement for 2026 annuities in the amount of $98,952,936. That’s almost 100 million dollars. That is a good chunk of change for only 33 people.
There is a Dr. Guy Mcpherson (professor of natural resources and ecology) claimed in 2016 that by 2026 all humanity would be wiped out due to climate change. Now with hantavirus, measles, ebola outbreak, shingles, forest fires, affordability, gas prices, Donald Trump and the middle east I should just stay on the couch or in bed and just watch CBC news.
