“false information on his tax return”

Tax Guilt!

Greetings everyone, we are having some wonderful weather here this weekend.

Tax Guilt!

Talked to a young man this week about his guilty feelings about his tax return he had just sent to the Revenue Department. He said that he gave some false information on his tax return. And he confessed to me what he had done, so I asked him what he was going to do about it. And he said he needed to ask God for forgiveness first, and then contact the Revenue Department and tell them what he had done and leave the results with God. And I agreed with him that was the right thing to do. And then he said he felt so much better about himself.

I read this verse to him, to confirm with him that he had made the right decision. James 5:16 (Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective

prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.)

And he said that was such an encouraging message from God, and that he felt like he had been healed and forgiven. And I pray that we all will find a trusted friend to share our inner feelings with. And I pray that God will meet all our needs this week Amen 🙏.
