Greetings everyone, we need some warm, dry weather for our farmers! Pray for them.
Fear and worry.
This week I heard an elderly woman express her fear and worries about what is happening in the world today.
She mentioned all the greed, injustice, cruelty and violence and she said she finds it hard to sleep, because so many innocent people are suffering. And she also mentioned that everything costs so much more than it used to, and she said it’s hard to make ends meet. But then she said something very important, that even though things look hopeless, God still is in control and in Him we can find peace. So I thought of this verse and shared it with her. John 14:27 (Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.)
So I pray that we all can find the peace of Jesus Christ in our hearts and minds in these times of uncertainty. I pray that God will meet all our needs this week.
