“All she could think of was to cry out to God”

In Despair She Cried Out !

Greetings everyone, we are having some rain showers here not good for the farmers.

In Despair She Cried Out !

Bumped into a old friend this week while I was doing some grocery shopping. And we stopped to have a short visit. I couldn’t help but notice that he had lost a lot of weight and looked very fragile. And he shared how two months ago he had a very bad heart attack, and ended up having a triple bye pass done on his heart. But he says he is slowly getting better and gaining his strength back and even some weight back.

His wife was with him and she shared that when it happened all she could think of was to cry out to God

And she said she kept repeating Psalm 130: 1-2 over and over again.

So I looked these verses up when I got home.

Psalm 130:1-2 (From the depths of my despair I call to you Lord. Hear my cry, O Lord! Listen to my cry for help!)

And she concluded that God indeed heard her cries and spared her husband. And that they were so thankful. So I pray that God would hear all our cries, as we cry out to Him on behalf of the needs of others and ourselves. Praying that God will meet all our needs this week Amen 🙏

Preaching this Sunday at Wayside Gospel Chapel. Come join us if you can.

Verse for today:

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”
