Parades are a significant part of the historic culture of our families. Whether it was spending New Years Morning watching the Rose Bowl Parade (“live and in colour from beautiful downtown Pacadena”) with our grandmothers, on a newly acquired Black & White TV, or staging our own with a tricycle on the laneway.
Our ancestral photographers would ration their film (and processing) money throughout the year and then blow through a couple of rolls of film on Parade Day!
