“I always wanted a mansion kind of house as an investment for our families future!“
The Mansion!
Greetings Everyone! Looks like we will have some very nice weather today.
The Mansion!
First thing I have to say about Sunday is a lot of people, are going to feel tired, because we will lose an hour of sleep with the time change.
A while ago I had lunch with a couple, and the whole conversation was about the new home they were building. Wow 5 bedrooms. 3 bathrooms, a huge kitchen, family room, dining room, a office, a man’s den, a reck room and 3 car garage. Complete with a surround deck outside the house. And I asked the question why are you building such a mansion at your ages? And the man said I always wanted a mansion kind of house as an investment for our family’s future! I didn’t say anything to them, but I thought about it when I got home. Maybe that’s what’s wrong with our world, we have wrong hopes for the future and we are investing in the wrong things. By the way these people are Christians. And I thought about what Jesus said regarding investing for our future in John 14:2-3 (In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you so. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you. I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.)
When we as Christians die, we go straight into the presence of Christ Jesus, straight to that mansion in heaven to spend eternity with God. Heaven will be our final address forever! So I pray that by trusting in Jesus, will have an investment that will provide us with an everlasting mansion Amen,
I pray that God will meet all our needs this week Amen .

Verse for today:
“Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”
