“he passed peacefully trusting that in Christ Jesus he was going home to live forever.“
HOME!
Greetings Everyone, forecast is calling for some snow and colder weather.
HOME!
Three weeks ago I shared about meeting with a man who was terminally ill. I shared my testimony with this man and Jesus Christ.
And he shared a lot of his life’s story with me. And he said he knew he was going to die soon, so he said He needed forgiveness for all the wrongs he had done. So I invited him to accept Jesus Christ into his life and he did. And we prayed together about a lot of things. And I encouraged him to read his Bible and as I kept in contact with him I knew he was reading it all the time. Well, this man went home to heaven this week. And a friend of his told me he passed peacefully trusting that in Christ Jesus he was going home to live forever.
And he left this verse with that friend.
Rev 21:4 (He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.) Praise the Lord Jesus Christ in the hope of everlasting life Amen.
My prayer is this that everyone who reads this will come to faith in Jesus Christ. Praying that God will meet all our needs this week, preaching at Wayside Gospel Chapel this morning. Amen
