The End Is Coming!
Greetings everyone, still very mild in our neck of the woods!
The End Is Coming!
Friday morning I got a call from a woman who was Judy’s home care worker some years ago. And she asked if I would go visit a friend of hers who is coming to the last stages of his life. She said he’s reading his Bible and asking a lot of questions regarding what happens when he dies. She said the man’s looking for some sort of comfort, emotionally, and she wants me to visit him next Tuesday afternoon. I said I would go see the man and read him some scriptures and pray with him.
And as I was asking God to give me a scripture that would really speak to him in his condition. This verse came to my mind.
Psalm 73:26 (My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.)
So I pray that this verse will bring comfort to this man when I see him next week. And I pray that we all will find comfort in the fact that as we go through stages in life, where our physical strength is slowly fading that we will let God be our portion forever Amen. I pray that God will meet all our needs this week Amen 
.
