New Years Eve with Ken Sundelin & Howard Jolly

“we will not worry about man made resolutions“

A New Person

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

We are still having wonderful weather in our area.

A New Person

Like I have done for many years at year end, I have taken a serious look at my life over the past year. I have seen times of sadness, times of great joy, I have seen where I have done some good things, but I have also seen some things that I did and said that have caused me sorrow and shame.

I have had to apologize and make amens to some people. And confess my sins to God and I have received full forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

And I don’t make any resolutions about stuff in my life I don’t like. Things like I am going to diet, work out, spend less, make more time for family and friends. Because I know a lot of people will make new year resolutions and for most they will end up dealing with the disappointment of failure. All I will do this new year is try to surrender myself to Christ Jesus and let him rebuild my life according to the will of the Father.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation the old is gone and the new has come.)

So my prayer for us all is that we will not worry about man made resolutions, but rather that we would let Jesus Christ renew us in Himself.

Praying that God will meet all our needs this week Amen 🙏preaching at Wayside Gospel Chapel this morning.
