Hard Work

Greetings to you all, praying for some more good harvest weather.

Hard Work

Do we ever stop and think about how hard we work to make a living?

And how much effort we put into maintaining our lifestyles?

The world always seems to be saying to us we need more things to have a happy and meaningful life. So we work even harder to make the money to buy all the stuff we think we have to have. But what about the spiritual area of our lives? Do we put in the effort needed to have a meaningful relationship with our Lord? Are we willing to to be of good service to our fellow man? What will God’s opinion be of us when we stand before him after our last breath?

2Timothy 2:15 (Work hard so God can say to you. “Well done.” Be a good workman, one who does not need to be ashamed when God examines your work. Know what his word says and means.)

I pray that we all will be people who puts full effort into knowing what God’s word means, and that we will be living his words out in our lives to his glory and honour. I pray that by God’s Grace all our needs will be met this week. Preaching this morning at Wayside church on God’s Grace.
