Good morning everyone, well the cooler fall weather is here.
A New Creation
(Old things are passed away, behold all things are become new.)
2 Corinthians 5:17
Many people are distressed, discouraged, unhappy, ruled by selfishness, are quarrelsome, confused, depressed, miserable … often turning to mood altering drugs, physical pleasures looking for escapisms. But wait a minute we can come to Jesus Christ by faith and become a new person. This might sound incredible and yet it is precisely what the Bible teaches. God’s word says that Christ took our sins. He finished the work of redemption. We are not saved through any works or merits of our own. If we believe in Jesus Christ, we have already come through the storm of judgement. It happened at the Cross. (God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousnesses of God.) 2 Corinthians 5:21.
I pray that all would come to Jesus by faith and be made a new! Praying that God will meet all our needs this week. Preaching at Wayside Gospel Chapel this morning on forgiveness.
