Good morning everyone, cool damp weather in our area today.

When Help Is Needed!

Sooner or later all of us will become overwhelmed with life’s problems. And when that happens to someone, it gives us the opportunity to step up to the plate and help. These past three months I have had so many people bless me by setting aside their time to encourage me as I adjust to living life as a widower.

Just a simple phone call, or someone dropping off a couple of prepared meals. Some times people have asked me to join them for an outing for supper or lunch. The end result is I am always encouraged by these acts of kindness and help. And that’s what God wants all of us to do. For years I have been able to help others and now it’s been my turn to get help from so many wonderful people.

I pray that we all will be able to obey God’s word in Galatians 6:2-3 (Share each other’s troubles and problems, and so obey our Lord’s command. If anyone thinks he is too great to stoop to this, he is fooling himself. He is really a nobody.) TLB.

I pray that God will meet all our needs this week. Amen .
