From The Cars of our Lives Collection
The Rabbit was acquired to replace the Lada. We felt it a necessity now that we had three drivers in the family. (Ahhh the freedom for parents when the first born turns 16 and can now chauffer his siblings!)
Craig comments: “I remember the rabbit held more people then a clown car. Also that winter cold snap when the defroster was broken and I had to drive it with the windows open :-)”
We remember this as the car that consumed great gobs of maintenance dollars.
