Reusable Grocery Bags
I figured out how to use one of my collection of reusable grocery bags. Fill it with snow and it makes a great driveway marker. Now … what to do with the rest of the collection?
Of course, I could just remember to set aside 10 bags and keep reusing them for groceries. I could train myself to remember to have a bunch of these bags in my pockets every time that I enter a grocery store. If I’m the only one that has this problem, then shame on me! If the majority of us have this problem then shame on us for electing the people who thought this was a somehow a good idea …
So now I’m turning into a collector of multi-use bags. I’ll soon have a closet full of them. To avoid being considered a hoarder, I’ll probably start filling them with garbage and send them to the dump. I believe I have now turned a multi-use bag into a very expensive single use bag. Hmmmm … maybe it’s time to “follow the money.” Any government that is capable of diverting $50 million to create a $80 thousand Arrive Can App is clearly capable of diverting our money to the makers of cloth bags.
