Lac Colbert was a unique experience. I finished work on Ottawa on July 21, but our house was sold for July 1. The company would have put us up in a downtown hotel. The company agreed with my math which determined that a cheaper option was to rent a cottage in the Gatineau Hills (on a private lake, with a rental car to commute) …
