Regenerative Agriculture at Boyle Park

Boyle Park is Pleased to Host Regenerative Agriculture.

Our 30 acres of arable land is farmed by a family agricultural enterprise, Otto Farms. While we represent only about 1% of their total seeded land, this year we comprise about 1/3 of their new initiative in regenerative agriculture.

Otto Farms is operated by Mark Otto, Dave & Judy Otto and Sam & Kristina Otto. They all live on, and love, the land! They are passionate about feeding the world while at the same time nurturing one of world’s most valuable resources.

Above is a picture of our land just after it was seeded this week. This year’s crop is a forage crop which will be harvested to produce feed for the local beef industry. In Dave Otto’s words: ”The plan is to cut the crop only once in mid to late July and let the crop regrow till Father Frost comes along. “
