Big Rock

This is a glacial erratic, moved perhaps 100’s of miles by the last glacier and then deposited when the glacier melted. There is another erratic south of Calgary, also called Big Rock, and it has a brewery named after it. Ours probably isn’t as large, but we can’t be sure since we “can only see the tip of the erratic”.
