1937-1941 Diary of Mossie Boyle

Background

During a recent visit with Cheryl Boyle Banks, she handed over two small suitcases containing the diaries of our Grandmother, Mossie Kitson Boyle. These diaries were entrusted to the care of Cheryl when grandma passed in 1978. Thank you Cheryl!

Bev & I have kind of fallen into the avocation of digitizing and organizing the artifacts of family history. We are beginning to present these artifacts in “museum like” galleries. We fully realize that work on this project will outlive us. However it is our fervent hope that we will inspire some of our descendants to carry on the work!

A few things to note:
  1. As a transcriber, Bev has endeavored to maintain the original spelling and grammar. So, to the English Teachers out there, the errors should be Grandma’s (but we encourage you to verify the attached originals and advise of errors that we have made!)
  2. We are learning that family historical artifacts tend to intermingle. Grandma did a radio show in 1973 and we have discovered that the Diary and the Radio Show can provide context and detail for each other!
