To be clear, we are not suggesting that we have any insight into whether our demise is imminent or distant.
Nor are we presuming that anyone will want to visit our graves.
Do know that if you come we won’t be there, just a few ashes and memories.
The final resting spot of our earthly remains will be in the Seafoot Family plot in the Swift Current cemetery.
Look down and see the Saskatchewan soil that we were born to.
Turn your face into the wind that we loved to hate, too cold in the winter, too hot in the summer.
Look beyond the edge of the cemetery to the traffic passing on the Trans Canada Highway. We travelled every mile of that highway . We saw so much of the Canada that we loved.
Look up and see the Living Saskatchewan Sky. The same sky that our eyes gazed upon.
Know that we have believed and now live with God for eternity.
