Family Summer Vacation Trip

In 1966 Mom received a share of the inheritance after her Dad’s farm was sold. I remember that options considered were a trip to Disneyland or buy a travel trailer and do a driving vacation. The latter option was selected and Mom & Dad purchased a new tiny trailer from a company in Winnipeg that Uncle Al Oliver had an interest in. We christened it the “Boylemobile” and headed west on a family road trip. The trailer was towed by our new 1966 AMC Ambassador. That vehicle had seats that folded down, into a bed, and that’s where I slept. Mom, Dad and Sally slept in the tiny trailer.
