The Ben Graham Group Inc.
We launched BGGI in 1995 as a partnership with Dr. Ben S Graham, Jr. and Harold Peters. Chris headed the Sales, Bev headed the Finance & Administration and Harold was our Chief Consultant. In the last half of the 1990’s we grew to a sales staff of three, a contract staff of up to six consultants and a support staff. In 1997 we closed our bricks and mortar office and distributed all of the work to home offices.
By 2002 we had a maturing business with two prime consultants: Harold Peters and Susan Barylo. Kelly Shumila and Chris did the sales work. Judy Otto and Bev handled the administration. We grew to delivering work in eight Canadian provinces and one territory. We also had brief activity in the U.S.
During the summer of 2003 both Harold and Susan found themselves having to make career changes which ended their ability to travel. That Fall, Chris gained field experience in preparation to take over all product delivery.
Chris hit the ground running and in 2004 delivered workshops and consulting in Ottawa, Trail, Toronto, Saint John, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Regina, Burnaby, Vernon …
Bev was frequently able to travel with Chris and we were able to see much of Canada!

The Ben Graham Group conducted a process project for the Pointe Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station of New Brunswick Power. On the Atlantic Coast west of Saint John.

The man on my left is Tim Baldwin. He was my constant escort while I was on site at the Station. The rule was that I “had to be within his sight and normal speaking distance, except when in the bathroom, unless the bathroom had windows…` I was there over a weekend and went to church with he and his family.

In late-October Chris taught a workshop for BGGI with Tolko Forest Products in Vernon. Bev & Chris flew into Kelowna and then added a few days for wineries and cousins!
