A tribute to Sally
I have warm memories of Rosina. She was one of my piano teachers when I was younger and was then my French teacher in High School. I remember Rosina as one of the friendly, smiling faces at community events.
I am so grateful for the inclusion of the Stutt House in the Weyburn Heritage Village. Bev & I toured the house, once again, this past summer (2025). Oh the memories of life mid-century! This home was 1/4 mile from Grandpa & Grandma Butters and the Stutts and Butters were the closest of friends. The Butters Family has donated many artifacts to the museum, and they are displayed in this house.The quilt from the 30’s with all of the names embroidered on it was actually on my bed in the 1960s! I have a memory as quite a young kid of being in the attic and looking at the adults below through the big iron grate. This is house the attic as headed in winter — the heat just rose from the living room. I checked and the grate is no longer there, but I could see where the hole for the grate had been boarded over!
