Grandpa’s Memory Journal, Entry #1: “A Father’s Legacy”

At Christmas 2001, just after our first grandchild, Kirena, was born, Craig and Dena gave me this book for Grandpa to record his memories. It has been sitting on my desk, pretty much in plain sight, for 15 years!
I didn’t get started for a whole bunch of excuses: terrible handwriting, life interfering, I can start tomorrow ….
Now seems like the right time, and Facebook seems like the right venue (although, I am also keeping my own copy). But I do believe that everyone should capture their own story.
